Mary Camille Orendain, a student of Mapua Institute of Technology, ranked second in the Sanitary Engineer Licensure Exams held at the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) testing center in Manila on January 17-19, 2017.
The board exam was divided into 6 parts, mainly Environmental, Public Health, Civil, Wastewater, and Water Supply Engineering. According to Orendain, the exam was mostly objective rather than a computation type of test. 62 out of 95 examinees passed, with Orendain ranking second. Her rating was 80.80, which was 1.77 points behind the rank one.
“Never give up! Focus on what you really want to achieve. If you ever start to feel discouraged, turn to those you love the most for comfort and encouragement. Most importantly, pray to God and trust his plans,”she advised.
